Golden Chick is expanding its Oklahoma footprint with the opening of a new restaurant at 111 E. County Road 2 in South Coffeyville, marking the brand’s first location in the northeastern Oklahoma trade area and its second restaurant opening of 2026.
Positioned along a key travel corridor and located inside the TA Express Travel Center, the new South Coffeyville restaurant is built to greet guests, whether it’s road trippers crossing state lines, truck drivers stopping in for a hot meal, or locals looking for a familiar favorite, Golden Chick delivers high-quality comfort food with the added ease of an on-the-go destination. The location also sits just across the Kansas border, further strengthening the brand’s regional presence following Golden Chick’s first-ever Kansas opening in July 2025.
The restaurant is operated by Hanif Lakhani, a first-time Golden Chick franchisee, continuing a long-standing trend of new operators choosing the brand as it approaches its 60th anniversary. The South Coffeyville restaurant represents Golden Chick’s first step into the greater Tulsa trade area, building on the brand’s strong presence in Oklahoma City, where it currently operates 14 locations. The opening signals continued confidence in the state as Golden Chick expands into additional major markets across Oklahoma.
The restaurant is open Monday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., serving a menu centered on hand-battered chicken, generous portions and flexible meal options.
Golden Chick is currently spotlighting its $6 Golden Deals, available through Feb. 8. Guests can choose between two complete meals, including three Golden Tenders® served with mashed potatoes and a fresh-baked Yeast Roll, or a two-piece Golden Fried or Roast Chicken meal served with mashed potatoes and a Yeast Roll. The value platform launched systemwide on Jan. 5 following a successful test and strong guest response. In addition to the value offering, Golden Chick continues to feature its popular Mini Funnel Cakes, a guest-favorite dessert that also benefits local schools near each restaurant. The brand has also brought back the hearty 9-piece Legs and Thighs Meal, available fried, roasted or mixed for $14.99, with the option to add four individual sides for $8, giving families and groups more flexibility at the table.
