A new bird has touched down in Eagle Pass, Texas! Golden Chick’s brand-new restaurant is now open at 2100 East Main St., giving the community a new place to enjoy Golden Chick favorites.
The opening in Eagle Pass marks Golden Chick’s first new restaurant debut following the milestone opening of its 250th location on Feb. 17 in Little Elm, Texas, continuing strong momentum early in 2026. The restaurant represents the brand’s 22nd location in the greater San Antonio area and its fourth opening of the year, reflecting Golden Chick’s strategy of disciplined, concentric growth that strengthens its presence across high-opportunity markets in Texas and beyond.
“After celebrating our 250th restaurant, we are focused on what comes next, building smart, staying consistent and opening restaurants that set our operators up for long-term success,” said Mark Parmerlee, CEO of Golden Chick. “Eagle Pass keeps that momentum moving, and we are proud to grow with franchisees who share our commitment to doing things the right way for every guest, every time.”
The Eagle Pass restaurant is owned and operated by first-time Golden Chick franchisee Jaime Jiminez. Jiminez grew up nearby in Brackettville and recalls visiting Golden Chick with his family as part of trips through the region. With his first Golden Chick location, he is investing in a fresh, modern restaurant experience for Eagle Pass, bringing the brand’s signature menu and service standards to the community.
“Choosing Golden Chick felt personal because the flavor and nostalgia are real for my family, and once you’ve grown up with it, nothing else compares,” said Jaime Jiminez. “Bringing it back to Eagle Pass in a fresh, modern restaurant feels like a full-circle moment. Eagle Pass has grown so much, and I’m proud to give our community the Golden Chick experience so many of us have always had a soft spot for.”
The restaurant is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Guests can enjoy Golden Chick favorites including its Original Golden Tenders®, hand-breaded fried chicken, Golden Roast Chicken, fresh-baked yeast rolls, hand-breaded U.S. farm-raised catfish and a wide variety of homestyle sides.
To complement the opening, Golden Chick is also featuring its Lent seafood lineup now through April 12, including Butterfly Shrimp for a limited time and combo options such as the six-piece Butterfly Shrimp Combo ($8.99), 10-piece Butterfly Shrimp Combo ($11.99), Butterfly Shrimp and Catfish Combo ($12.99), and Surf and Turf Combo ($9.99).
Golden Chick now operates more than 250 restaurants across its multi-state footprint, with additional locations already slated to open in 2026 as the brand continues to build on its current pace of record-breaking development.
